Nolan clawing back respect?
Good to see him go off to applause, alway disappointed to see a player singled out vocally, even when deserved.

Yeah I agree it was one of the most boring games I've been too since I've had a season ticket, and there has been some boring ones!

It felt like literally nothing happened. Only redeeming factor was we scored a late winner for the first time in since, well I can't remember the last one!

Collins MOTM for me though.

Cresswell was the least bad, for me, so pleased he got it.

I'd say the man of the match was the final whistle, but I'd fucked off long before then because I was so fucking bored

Re: Nolan clawing back respect?
Other than Collins and Kouyate I actually thought Nolan had a pretty good game on Saturday.

Did the simple things well, everyone else had an off day, don't know how Cresswell got man of the match, I think all bar one of his crosses ended up in the stands.

Judging things on this Kevin Nolan curve is what is wrong with society. Less shit does not equal good.

first and best signing by Sam , undervalued by many but played a massive part in taking our club forward , will always appreciate his efforts for us .

Re: Nolan clawing back respect?
He never lost repect. He was pivotal in getting us promoted, has been a leader and strong character in the squad. Age seems to have caught up with him a bit, he was never the fastest but is simply too slow and immobile now. This is only compounded when he is played along side other slow players like Noble.

Why retire with a year of a lucrative contract left?

I thought the applause was more approval of the decision to take him off

Re: Nolan clawing back respect?
It's clear to the sentient that Nolan only started on Saturday because Kouyate had been moved to cover a first choice centre back.

Re: Nolan clawing back respect?
Let him score his 100th goal against Leicester, i'm sure he will too. Even Nolan is better than Wes Morgan
